Hi moms we r driving to DW on a sat driving straight through. We are timing it to arrive at 9:00 am on Sunday. My question is is it feasible to go to MK when we arrive after that long ride. We don't want to use our hotel day on 1st day we want to save it.

    Hi Janette!!!

Thank you so much for your question!!  I am sure that you are very excited about this being your first Walt Disney World Vacation!!  We love getting to the theme parks as early as possible on our day of arrival.

I do think it is feasible to go straight to the Magic Kingdom upon your arrival.  If you are traveling with young ones I am sure they would have slept during the drive at night.  It may be the adults that will be tired after that drive!!

The only thing I will caution against is not starting out your trip tired.  If you go into the theme parks on that first day I would make it somewhat of an early evening just so you get a good night's rest the first evening and are well rested for the remainder of your trip.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

    Have a magical trip!!
