We are driving down on Dec 22nd 2013 and I see that the day for the Very Merry Christmas parade is that same day. What time does is start? How long are all the festivities? I am considering if it will be too late of a night for my 1 1/2 year old?

Julie, your family will adore spending the holidays at Walt Disney World! Hundreds of Christmas trees, thousands of poinsettias, and zillions of lights create an astonishing wonderland that has no rivals.

The last Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on December 20, a couple of days before your arrival. After the parties are over, however, some of the special entertainment from the Christmas bash is still presented in the Magic Kingdom. The Holiday Wishes fireworks and Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade may be seen each day until Christmas. Your little one will delight in seeing Mickey and Santa in the parade which is typically held mid afternoon. The fireworks are spectacular and well worth staying up past bedtime to enjoy.

    Enjoy Christmas with Mickey!
