Hi Jessica,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am so happy to hear that you are planning to use the
online check-in service. The good news is that there is no specific time that you must enter the room when you arrive. Simply stop by the online check-in desk or see any cast member at the front desk when you arrive. Doing so always helps me get my bearings of the resort hotel, to see in person where the dining location(s) and gift shop(s) are in relation to my room. With online check-in, I prefer the text alert and, as soon as I receive this message, I actually check our room location. Since we typically make specific room requests, I carefully review the online check-in alert to see if those requests have been accommodated. Although room requests are not guaranteed, I will call if the room location is not one we have requested. On most occasions, a cast member has been able to honor our requests. Also, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. On my last visit, we used the "unlock door" feature. It was quite handy!
Since you are driving, I hope you have reviewed the
parking information. Of course, as a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel guest, you can use the complimentary resort transportation. I would also suggest that, given your late arrival, you may want to check the operating hours of the dining locations at your resort. Although you might be bringing your own snacks, you may want to grab a bite to eat when you arrive! Since we typically get a dining plan, we also get our resort refillable mugs when we arrive.
Jessica, safe travels!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
