Welcome to planDisney, Linda!
How exciting that you're planning a family trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm sure the joy of being with your daughter will be doubled, as you all enjoy the
50th Anniversary Celebration together. Make sure you make time to watch
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park. Here's a tip: watch it somewhere close to
Casey's Corner. You'll get a great view of
Cinderella Castle, but you'll also be able to see the projections on Main Street, U.S.A. I'd recommend finding a spot about 45 minutes before the show starts.
But "let's get down to business." If your daughter is planning on going straight to
Disney's Hollywood Studios from the airport, then she can easily take an Uber or Lyft to the park entrance. There are a couple of
different-sized lockers available to rent. A small locker is 12" x 10" x 17" and costs $10 per day and a large locker is 15.5" x 13" x 17" and costs $12 per day. (These prices are always subject to change). I'm assuming these lockers will be too small for her luggage. Generally, people can't bring their luggage into the parks due to size restrictions. You can bring personal bags into the parks, however, they must not exceed 24" x 15" x 18". You're also not currently allowed to bring any luggage onto the Disney transportation systems. Therefore, if you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, I'd suggest that your daughter takes an Uber or a Lyft from the airport straight to the hotel. She can check in really easily on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Even if her room isn't ready when she arrives, she can leave her luggage with Bell Services and then take the complimentary transportation from the hotel to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
I hope that's helpful, Linda. Please stop by
planDisney again if we can assist you in any way. Have an enchanted vacation.
ChEARS,
Mike
