Driving to Disney and staying at Contemporary with 3 year old. Should we bring our own expensive stroller and risk it being stolen or rent from outside company and if so is it worth it to pay for theft insurance?

    Hi Lisa,

I hope (fingers crossed)  that one of your dining reservations is at Chef Mickey's right there in the Contemporary Hotel. Your 3 year old and you will enjoy it. Now the stroller question. It has been my experience with single strollers, double strollers, expensive strollers and even umbrella strollers that I have never had one stolen or even tampered with. Guests at Walt Disney World seem not to have that thieving mentality. Maybe it is all of the pixie dust floating around. With that said, I suggest you bring your own stroller because your child is accustomed to it and so are you. You will be folding and unfolding it quite a bit, especially if you are using Disney Transportation. Why not have one that you are familiar with? Theft insurance on your stroller sounds like a great idea if you are still concerned. At least you will have peace of mind just in case your expensive piece of equipment happens to vanish. I hope this helps a bit. Have a magical vacation.
