I am driving to Disney with my husband & 11 year old son and we're staying at the BoardWalk Villas. I am wondering if we can drive our car to our different dinner reservations, resorts, parks, etc.? Or are we only able to use Disney transportation?

    Hello Kathryn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question!

As a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, among many benefits, you have access to complimentary transportation that can take you to all four theme parks, water parks, other Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs. In addition, Guests can also take advantage of complimentary parking throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, so you are more than welcome to use your own vehicle go come and go if you choose to do so.

Sometimes though, using Disney transportation is a very fun and unique experience. Since you are staying at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, I highly recommend taking a Friendship boat to Epcot or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In addition, no visit the Walt Disney World Resort is complete without a monorail ride, so be sure to travel between Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot or take the resort monorail to visit one of the Disney Resorts located on the monorail line. I suggest stopping by Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to enjoy a nice Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai or a nice dinner at ‘Ohana.

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!! I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit.
