We will be driving to the contemp and will be taking our own van to AK and HS. We have handicap parking for our son and was wondering how long of a walk will it be from the handicap parking. We have dining resv at both parks and wonder how early to leave

    Hi, Tara!

The Handicap Parking areas at both Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom are at the very front of the parking lots.  Make sure the cast members see your permit so they direct you to the best parking available.  From these reserved spots, you should only have a walk of 5 - 7 minutes to the front gates of the parks.  Allow about 20 minutes drive time, plus time to get to your restaurant.  (I always allow myself about 45 minutes to an hour in total, I prefer to be early and not rush!)

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
