We're driving from Animal Kingdom to Ft Wilderness to see Hoop Dee Doo Musical Review. Other sites instruct to drive into the MK parking lot and follow signs once inside to Ft Wilderness. Google Maps says differently. Any simpler directions? Timeframe?

    Jeffrey:

The 25-minute drive from Animal Kingdom to Fort Wilderness is indeed made easiest if you follow the signs to the Magic Kingdom parking lot, however, you won't drive that far. Once you see the large arch gateway leading to the parking lot, begin making your way to the farthest right car lane (the farthest lane is for buses). When you get to the attendant's booth, let them know you are headed to Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue. You'll immediately begin making your way to the right-hand lane (watch for the buses). Go to the 4-way at Vista Boulevard and make a right. You'll find the fort's entrance on your left, about 1/3 mile down the road. The attendant will direct you to the overflow parking lot where you can park and then walk to the Outpost Bus Stop to take the Orange Bus Line to the Settlement on the opposite side of the resort.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
