Hi, Richard! Welcome to planDisney! We love helping people plan their next magical vacation! I am so sorry to hear that your driver's license was stolen. I'm sure it has been a stressful experience. It sounds like a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort is exactly what you need!
Identification is not typically required to enter any of Disney's theme parks, assuming you purchased your ticket online and have linked it to your My Disney Experience account. Entering the park, you will scan your MagicBand or My Disney Experience App, and have a fingerprint scanned to be attached to your ticket. This data isn't stored; it's linked to your ticket as numerical data to ensure it isn't used by someone else.
There are a few circumstances where ID is required, though. Checking into a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will be asked to present a valid form of identification. Obviously, if you are ordering an alcoholic drink, it is required, as well as if your tickets have to be picked up at the will-call window.
If you get the chance to make it to
EPCOT during your visit, check out the recently updated
Frozen Ever After in the Norway pavilion. It might sound like it's just for little kids, but my adult children still beg to ride this every trip! You can see Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and all their friends as you tour favorite scenes from this beloved movie. And when you exit, stop by
Kringla Bakeri Og Cafe and order their famous School Bread. You won't be sorry!
Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, Richard! I hope this answers your question. If there's anything else we can do, please don't hesitate to ask!
Always Dreaming -
