Hi Kristen!
I’m so glad you found us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Before you know it, it will be time for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!
I hope you’re taking advantage of the
Canadian Resident Park Tickets! You’ve only got a few days left to purchase at the current special price, so please be sure to do so right away! You’ll have until 12/31/20 to use the first day of your ticket and then 13 days to use the rest of the days. If your children are under 18 years old, then you won’t have to show anything for them. As you mentioned, just make sure you have proof of residency from a government issued driver’s license or ID for you and your husband.
Some of my favorite must dos at the Disneyland Resort are
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge,
Cars Land,
Pixar Pier,
Fantasmic! and
World of Color. By the time you visit Disneyland Park the new daytime parade
“Magic Happens” should be in full swing. I’m sure once I see it, I’ll add it to my list of must dos as well! If you haven’t booked a hotel yet I’d recommend considering the
Disneyland Hotel. It has that classic Disneyland feel and each of the towers represents each of the original lands at Disneyland Park. You mentioned you had two kids and were traveling in August. The weather in August is amazing for some pool time at the Resort. My kids like the pool at the Disneyland Hotel the best because of the
Monorail Water slides. They feature replicas of the Mark 1 Monorail trains and there are two of them. One is higher and faster perfect for those seeking adventure and the second one is shorter and better for the younger ones. I just know they will love them!
Well Kristen, if you have any more questions for us here at the panel, please come back and let us know how we can help!
Remember, always believe in the magic!
