Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Elizabeth. Thanks for dropping by with your question.
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is such a fun place to stay. My family and I stay there a few times a year and absolutely love it! Being an on property Guest, Elizabeth, you do receive
complimentary standard theme park parking at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. However, an RV is considered an oversized vehicle. To park an oversized vehicle at the theme parks typically costs $30 per day (prices are subject to change at any time without notice). Because you are an on-property Guest, you would be required to pay the upgraded difference.
What I would recommend, Elizabeth, is actually taking the complimentary theme park transportation to the parks each day from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. By doing that, you won't have to unhook and unplug your set up which can be a hassle. From The Fort, as it is lovingly nicknamed, you will have access to complimentary buses and water transportation to the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Transportation starts running in the morning about 45 minutes prior to the theme park's scheduled opening time and continues all day long.
While you are staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness, I hope you'll mosey on down to The Settlement area for some dinner from
P & J's Southern Takeout. It's a must-do for my family when we stay there. We absolutely love their fried chicken, macaroni and cheese and cornbread dinner. It's delicious!
I hope this helps plan your day a little bit better, Elizabeth. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy camping!
Jackie H.
