Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Brittania. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Artist Point is such a fabulous restaurant to dine at. You are going to love it. The restaurant itself is so quaint and charming and then add in some friends like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and wow - it turns into quite the experience!
I think you'll be happy to know that you can indeed drive from
Disney's Contemporary Resort to
Disney's Wilderness Lodge where the restaurant is located. If you put in Disney's Wilderness Lodge into your phone's map program, it will get you there no problem. The drive itself will only take you about 10 minutes give or take with traffic. It's very close. When you get to the security guard shack, you'll tell the Cast Member working that you have a dinner reservation and they will verify this on their iPad. They may ask for your i.d. so be sure to have that handy as well. After that, you'll be instructed on where you can park and then you can head on into the restaurant.
If you get to Disney's Wilderness Lodge a bit early, you could always head straight outside to
Geyser Pointe Bar & Grill which is my favorite spot to relax and have a cocktail. This restaurant is located right on the lake and has some really stunning views. It's a first-come, first-serve type place which is perfect if you are running a little bit ahead of schedule and need a place to hang out for a bit.
I hope you have a wonderful dining experience, Brittania. If you have any other questions about this please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Enjoy!
