Are drinks (specifically coffee in a to go cup) allowed on the trams? Was thinking of picking up coffee on the way to the park.

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Cheryl!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney! I can see you have already stepped into the magic and are getting ready to enjoy a pixie-dusted vacation.  Like you, I love to take a bit of morning sunshine, a.k.a. coffee, with me in the mornings as it helps me get some Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah in my step for rope drop.  So, you definitely have a friend in me when it comes to coffee talk.

You can take non-alcoholic food and beverages like coffee on Walt Disney World Resort transportation at this time, including the parking trams. I do recommend making sure it has a lid on it, as sometimes they start with a jolt, and you don't want to spill.  But, you should definitely feel free to bring your coffee with you to start your day.

Should you need a refill, you'll be excited to know there are several Starbucks locations on property, as well as Joffrey's Coffee & Tea kiosks, inside the parks as well.  The Starbucks locations can be found at:

Also, if you are heading to Magic Kingdom Park, I highly recommend pairing your coffee with one of Gaston's Giant Cinnamon Rolls found at Gaston's Tavern. Like Gaston, they are as big as a barge, but they pair so well with your morning coffee.

I hope this helps you start your day, and I hope you have the most magical time on earth at Walt Disney World Resort. If I can help you any further, please stop by and see me here at planDisney. I'll be glad to help you out.

    Ta Ta For Now,
