Jambo, Sophie! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you’re planning your day at the wildest park at
Walt Disney World Resort. I absolutely love Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, Sophie. It has such different vibes than the other parks, with plenty of greenery, more animals than you can count, and just an overall relaxed atmosphere.
Breakfast at
Tusker House Restaurant offers a beautiful buffet with African-inspired flavors as well as American fare, including Mickey and Simba waffles of course! To answer your question, Sophie, coffee, tea, milk, and assorted juices are all included in the cost of your dining experience. This includes the popular Jungle Juice! There is a selection of non-alcoholic specialty beverages, as well as specialty cocktails, that do incur extra costs. During your dining experience, you’ll also get to meet with Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Goofy, all wearing their safari best! It is important to note that characters are subject to change.
Once you’ve wrapped up breakfast, I highly recommend visiting
Kilimanjaro Safaris! Typically speaking, the animals are active in the early morning hours before the weather starts to get really hot. It’s a great time to visit the attraction. And in my opinion, no visit to Animal Kingdom is complete without catching
Festival of the Lion King. My family and I love this show. It’s stunning! It features singing, dancing, acrobatics, and much more!
Once you’ve had a chance to digest your breakfast and you’re ready for a snack, I recommend stopping by
Terra Treats for the wildly popular Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich. It’s popular for a very good reason! It’s a delicious, sweet treat on a hot day in Animal Kingdom.
I hope this answers your question, Sophie! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, please come back and see us here at
planDisney. We’re always happy to help!
Kwaheri!
