Can drinking water and soda be brought on the ship for my stateroom? How many luggage are allowed per guest?

Hello Tamara! Thank you for visiting us at planDisney as you prepare for your upcoming cruise. You will be sailing away in a matter of days! Are you ready for the moment that you will be welcomed aboard? Have your camera ready for this picture-perfect photo opportunity!

It sounds like you are busy packing for your vacation. I'm happy to share that you can bring your own water or soda on the ship with you. There is just one very important thing that you must keep in mind. These beverages must be unopened and need to be taken on the ship in your carry-on luggage only. So if you are thinking of taking several of these items, I recommend bringing them in a small suitcase or another bag that is easy to roll along with you. Alternatively, divide the bottles of water among your travel party to help distribute the weight! Your stateroom may not be ready when you first board the ship, so it will be important that whatever carry-on luggage in your possession will be comfortable to take with you as you grab lunch and begin to explore the ship.

Water bottles may also be purchased once onboard if that better suits your needs. A variety of sodas (Coca-Cola products), as well as filtered water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, will be available at the beverage stations onboard and are included in your cruise fare.

As far as luggage goes, Disney Cruise Line allows two suitcases per Guest. You may also choose to bring a day bag or carry-on-sized luggage with you as you board. You will attach your luggage tags to your larger suitcases and leave them with a porter as part of the check-in process at the port. Your luggage will then be delivered to your stateroom in the afternoon of your embarkation day. Be sure to keep any important travel documents, identification, medication, or personal valuables in your carry-on luggage. I also love to throw in some sunscreen and a swimsuit for a chance to head to the pools shortly after stepping on board. It's one way to start your vacation off with a splash!

Tamara, I hope that you have a magical vacation. Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Enjoy your cruise and the memories that you will make onboard the Disney Cruise Line.

    Bon Voyage!
