    I only drink water and plan on bringing my own water bottle. I asked on Walt Disney world.com if I can substitute my drink for a snack. I was told I can not. Is that true?

     Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!

     It sounds like you have an upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort planned. Wahoo! It sounds like you have the Disney Dining Plan too. Even better! My family loves the Disney Dining Plan and one of the things we love most about it is that its super flexible. You'll be happy to know that the beverage included with your Quick-Service or Table-Service meal entitlement can be substituted for any item that is an eligible snack at the location where you're using the entitlement. In my experience, I've been sure to politely and explicitly state the exchange I wished to make with my meal entitlement when I placed my order. I've never had any issues doing so!

     I recommend booking at least one Character Dining Experience during your visit. These special meals are great for everyone in your travel party! You're sure to enjoy delicious food AND the company of beloved Disney characters. Character Dining Experiences are also a fantastic value on the Disney Dining Plan!
