Ahoy there, Caitie. Welcome to planDisney!
I’m delighted to see you’ll be sailing on a Disney cruise in January 2026! Your magical cruise will be here before you know it.
Disney Cruise Line does not have drink packages unlike many other cruise lines. However, most non-alcoholic beverages available onboard are already included in the price of your cruise. Sodas, drip coffee, tea and juices are available throughout the day at the buffet, at beverage stations on the pool deck and in the main dining rooms. There are some beverages that will cost extra such as specialty coffees at the cafe. Canned sodas or bottled water at the concession stands (such as outside the Walt Disney Theater) will also incur additional fee.
Now, let's talk about
alcoholic drinks. Guests over the age of 21 are allowed to bring a maximum of 2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 mL) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces) when you board the ship on Embarkation Day. If you decide to bring these onboard, just make sure they are in your carry-on bags and not in your checked luggage.
You can also check out
Onboard Gifts for wine packages (ranging from 3 to 7 bottles, classic or premium) that can be purchased prior to your sailing. These bottles of wine will be available for you to enjoy in the main dining room. If you can’t finish the bottle in one sitting, you can choose to take it with you back to your stateroom to enjoy or your dining room servers will save it for dinner the following night. At the end of your cruise, if you have any unopened bottles left from your package, you’re allowed to carry up to 2 bottles of wine off the ship.
If you enjoy beer, you can purchase the
Beer Mug Savings Package. With this package, you’ll get a beer mug (which makes a nice souvenir to take home) that you can bring to any onboard bar and get a 21-ounce beer refill for the price of a 16-ounce. If you don’t want to lug around a beer mug throughout your cruise, you can ask for a beer mug token which you can then redeem at a bar for another beer.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Caitie. If you have more questions, please feel free to sail by
planDisney again.
Hope to SEA ya real soon,
Kiki
