Ahoy there, Brandy! Thanks for taking the time to stop by planDisney.
It looks like you’ll be sailing on an upcoming Disney cruise at the end of the month. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line does not offer drink packages. A unique offering on Disney ships, compared to other mainstream cruise lines, is that most non-alcoholic beverages available onboard are included in the price of your cruise. Freshly brewed coffee, tea, sodas, and juices are available throughout the day from the buffet, from beverage stations on the pool deck and in the main dining rooms. However, there are certain beverages that will incur additional costs such as if you order a canned soda, bottled water or specialty coffee at one of the bars or lounges. Canned sodas or bottled water at the concession stands (located outside the Walt Disney Theater) will also cost extra.
When it comes to
alcoholic beverages, Disney Cruise Line allows Guests over the age of 21 to bring a maximum of 2 unopened bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 mL) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces) onboard. On Embarkation Day, just be sure to have these in your carry-on bags and not in your checked luggage.
If you enjoy refreshing beer while lounging poolside in the sun, you can purchase the Beer Mug Savings Package. With this package, you’ll get a beer mug (which makes a nice souvenir to bring home) that you can take to any onboard bar and get a 21-ounce beer refill for the price of a 16-ounce. If you don’t want to lug around a beer mug throughout your cruise, you can ask for a beer mug token which you can redeem at a bar when you’re ready for your next round.
You can also check out
Onboard Gifts for wine packages (ranging from 3 to 7 bottles, classic or premium) that can be purchased prior to your cruise. These wines will be available for you to enjoy in the main dining room. Hakuna matata if you can't finish the bottle in one sitting, because you can either take it with you back to your stateroom to enjoy or your dining room servers will save it for the next night’s dinner. If you are unable to drink all your wine, you’re allowed to carry up to 2 bottles of wine off the ship at the end of your sailing.
