Ahoy, Susie!
Welcome aboard planDisney! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of having a cool drink in your hand as the ocean stretches endlessly around you—it’s a moment worthy of its own “Happily Ever After.” While Disney Cruise Line doesn’t offer an all-inclusive liquor package, there are plenty of clever ways to sip and save while you sail.
If you enjoy a cold beer, you may want to look into the
Beer Mug Savings Package. Currently, you’ll receive a 23-ounce refill for the price of 16 ounces, and if you’d rather not carry the mug around, you can trade it in for a token and redeem a fresh mug at your convenience. It’s like having a little treasure map tucked away for your next adventure.
For cocktail lovers, keep an eye on the Drink of the Day once you’re onboard. Each day’s special drink will be listed in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard. These rotating specialty drinks are a fun surprise and usually come at a discounted price, making them a perfect way to try something new without feeling like you’ve given all your gold to Scrooge McDuck.
Another great perk is that
each Guest 21 years and older can bring up to two bottles of wine or sparkling wine (750 ml each) or six beers (12 oz each) in their carry-on at embarkation and at each port of call. One of my favorite ways to take advantage of this is by enjoying a beverage on the verandah while watching the sun dip below the horizon—pure Disney magic!
You can also pre-order beverages through the Onboard Gifts section of your Navigator app, and don’t forget that
soda is included at the self-serve stations on the pool deck and in the dining rooms. That means your family can enjoy unlimited Coca-Cola products without any extra cost, which is a nice sprinkle of pixie dust.
I hope this helps you feel more confident about your options for adult beverages onboard. With these tips, you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite drinks while keeping a few extra coins in your treasure chest—and still have plenty of Disney magic in every toast.
Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
Dustin
