Ahoy Jermaine,
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question! I do enjoy a tropical beverage while aboard a
Disney Cruise Line ship. I am happy to help you think about a drink package for your sailing, as well as other opportunities for beverages onboard.
During your sailing, many
non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary, including soft drinks, coffee and tea at meals, as well as beverages from the self-serve beverage stations on the upper decks. It is really nice to be able to head to the beverage station to grab a soda when you want one!
Alcoholic beverages are an additional cost. While there is not an overall drink package, you can purchase packages that offer certain amounts of beer or wine. You can
search for these beverage packages online by entering your departure port, and you can purchase them ahead of time using the link I provided, or once you can purchase them once you are on the ship. The prices for the various packages are available on the website that I linked. Guests 21 years and older can also
carry on two bottles of wine or champagne or six beers at embarkation. These must be carried on and not in your checked luggage.
If you are interested in a way to taste some adult beverages while onboard, I recommend signing up for one of the
beverage tastings. These allow you to taste many variations of one type of spirit, from bourbon to rum to wine. There are also beverage tastings that focus on cocktails. The beverage tastings do have a cost associated. You can sign up for these once onboard; however, they do fill up fast, so I recommend booking them ahead of your sailing if you know that you want to do one.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jermaine! Have a great time planning your magical cruise, and please feel free to sail on back to planDisney if you have any further questions.
