Can I use my drink option from my quick service meal as a snack as I have had gastric bypass and do not drink while I eat?

    Hi Robin,

I simply LOVE the value and flexibility of the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan!

It might please you to hEAR that you may certainly exchange the included drink or dessert for any of the eligible Snacks at each individual Quick-Service dining location. However, the substitution must be completed in the same transaction. For example, you can swap drinks for pastries or pieces of fruit. In fact, any items labeled with the "Snacks" notation are eligible for substitutions. In other words, one option could be easily exchanged for another "similar" item.

Other allowable substitutions include the ability to swap a full Quick-Service meal entitlement for 3 Snacks at the same restaurant, and on the same transaction. This is great news for Guests that can only tolerate smaller portions post gastric bypass surgery. For a full list of all the participating Quick-Service restaurants, please refer to the 2017 Disney Dining Plans Participating Locations document.

If you opt to book dining reservations at Table-Service restaurants, be sure to have the Cast Member note your special dietary needs. Once at the theme parks, you might be able to speak with a chef right before ordering your entrée. They will most definitely accommodate you to have a fabulous dining experience.

Did You Know? Remaining meal entitlements will always be printed on dining receipts. This makes it extremely easy to track your dining plan usage.

Wishing you an unforgettable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
