    Is a dress shirt and dress pants ok for men for the semi formal night (4night Bahamas cruise on Dream)? We have to fly to Florida and are trying to simplify packing! Also, we have early dining-what time is that exactly?

    Hi Janet,

    I don't blame you for wanting to simplify packing...you'll be so happy you did.  The first time I sailed on a Disney cruise I overpacked so much that half of the clothes went unused!  Dress code for the dining rooms on the ship is mostly cruise casual meaning no shorts, tank tops or or swimwear.  Please take a look at Disney Cruise Line's Onboard Dining Attire information.  Your husband will be fine wearing a shirt, tie and dress pants on semi-formal night.  Keep in mind though, that if you are planning a special dinner at the adults only restaurant Remy, he will have to wear a jacket. 

    It sounds like you are reserved at the first dinner seating, which is the main seating time.  On the Disney Dream that would be 5:45pm.  Please let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage Janet!
