Hiya Alicia,
From one princess mom to another, welcome to planDisney! Whether this is your daughter’s first visit or she is a veteran, there is just something special about the transformations at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! My daughter still talks about her experience, and once again, her Nana and Pop Pop are gifting her another one this year, so I cannot wait for her to experience it yet again.
Now, let’s chat about the dresses currently available. I did some checking around, and currently, only dresses are available for Elsa, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Tiana, Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Mirabelle, and Isabella. This was the same when I visited in December (I remember distinctly because my toddler had her heart set on Snow White and I was bracing for the tears), so I would imagine these would likely be the ones available during your visit in a couple of weeks. I know there was a wider selection of dresses in the past, so you never know if more will be available during your visit. The selections are subject to change without notice, so you may just have to wait for the magical surprise when you arrive. Here’s a tip, Alicia: if you know your daughter’s experience will be ruined by not getting to transform into Tinker Bell, bring your own dress. I had a backup dress stowed away in my Loungefly, just in case (luckily, she saw Rapunzel and decided she needed that one, and forgot all about Snow White). Just hand the dress to the Cast Member, and they will hang it in your daughter’s changing room so she can still have the special moment.
I hope this was helpful, Alicia. Before I let you go, did you know that, as part of your experience, a
PhotoPass photographer is walking around taking photos throughout the makeover? While they are not dedicated to just your princess, I really loved the experience of being able to be present and focused on my daughter. I put away my phone and just soaked in the magical experience with her, and I honestly loved every minute of it. They will also explain how to access the photos after the experience. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the magic of Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices. Oh, and one last thing: don’t forget to stick around for
Happily Ever After Fireworks during your visit to the Magic Kingdom (and try to be closer to Tomorrowland). Look up to the sky, Alicia, and you will see Tink take flight (weather permitting). Trust me on this, that magical moment can make the entire trip. I hope you both have the most magical experience, and please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
