Ahoy, Jennifer!
Welcome aboard planDisney! You and your crew have picked a frightfully fun week to sail on the Disney Treasure. Since you’ll be sailing during Halloween on the High Seas, let’s take a look at what’s currently brewing in the cauldron so you know what to pack for your evenings onboard.
Here is what’s currently in the spellbook for your sailing:
• Day 1 (Port Canaveral) – Cruise Casual
• Day 2 (At Sea) – Formal Night
• Day 3 (Cozumel) – Mickey’s Mouse-querade and Trick-or-Treating
• Day 4 (George Town) –
Pirate Night• Day 5 (Falmouth) – Cruise Casual
• Day 6 (At Sea) – Semi-Formal Night
• Day 7 (Castaway Cay) – Cruise Casual
That gives you a nice mix of opportunities to dress up, whether you want to go all-out or simply add a few festive touches to your cruise wardrobe. Of course,
Halloween on the High Seas is the perfect excuse to
bring a costume along, especially for Mickey’s Mouse-querade and Trick-or-Treating. I always enjoy seeing how creative Guests get with their costumes, and there’s something pretty fun about walking around the ship surrounded by everyone’s Halloween creations.
There is so much packed into your sailing that I recommend keeping an eye on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you’re onboard. The schedule can change, so the app will be your best source for the final entertainment times and activities for your specific sailing. Sometimes Phineas, Ezra, and Gus seem to have their own ideas about what should happen aboard the Treasure!
While you’re exploring the Navigator app on embarkation day, be sure to look for The Tale of the Enchanted Pumpkin Tree in the Grand Hall on the first evening (subject to change). It’s a fun way to kick off your Halloween on the High Seas adventure, and with the Enchanted Pumpkin Tree taking center stage, you’ll know pretty quickly that you’ve left the ordinary behind.
I hope this helps you get your crew packed and ready for a week where the only thing scarier than the ghosts aboard the Treasure might be realizing you forgot your costume! Have a wonderful Halloween on the High Seas sailing, Jennifer, and may your week be filled with plenty of treats, a few perfectly timed tricks, and memories that would make even the Sanderson Sisters jealous.
Sea ya real soon as summer waves goodbye and autumn magic begins to shine,
Dustin
