Can we dress up as a family in costumes during Mickey's Not so scary Halloween party?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kris ~

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my all-time favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom. I have a blast dressing up and I am already working on ideas for my costume for this year's event.

All Guests including adults are encouraged (but not required) to dress up for MNSSHP. Some Guests wear Halloween hats and others go all out. It is so exciting to see all of the creative costumes. Dressing up as a family is always big fun. I saw a family dressed as the gang from Mario Kart last year - they were amazing! I have also seen families dressed as the original Mouseketeers, pirates, the gang from Wreck-It Ralph, characters from Peter Pan, and Ghostbusters. Keep in mind that Guests are not allowed to wear masks and costumes should be in good taste since MNSSHP is a family oriented event.

You are allowed to ride rides in costume as long as they do not compromise safety in any way. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes too. The Magic Kingdom is big and there is a lot of walking and waiting in line even during MNSSHP.

Have fun creating your costumes! Please feel free to visit again with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!

Wishing you minnie spooktacular memories :-) Allison V.
