Hi Constance,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Often, we find ourselves rushing straight from theme park fun to a table-service restaurant. Given that we normally go in the summer when temperatures can be sweltering, we can arrive at a restaurant looking less than stellar. We typically pay close attention to the dress codes at
signature restaurants. To review the dress code requirements for specific restaurants, click on the restaurant's web page.
Artist Point,
California Grill,
Monsieur Paul and
Narcoossee's, for example, all specify dress code requirements while others, like The Hollywood Brown Derby, currently do not. Since policies can change, always check when you arrive!
As a general practice, when we dine at signature restaurants outside of the parks, we go back to our resort hotel and change clothes before dinner. If we are headed to a signature restaurant in the parks, we have arrived in our normal theme park attire. At Cinderella's Royal Table, for example, while our girls have always dressed as royalty for this experience, we have gone far more casually dressed. Of course, I would not advise restaurant dining in swimwear, but our resort casual has been accepted!
Constance, I love that you are considering attire - since we love to dress up for dinner, we do prefer to head back to the resort hotel in the afternoon to relax and change clothes!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
