Dress code for water parks: On men's swimming trunks, do the little plastic coated metal rings that the tie comes thru, count as metal and not be allowed in the park? Is it considered a rivet?

    Hi Tracy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about one of my favourite hidden gems at Walt Disney World Resort: Disney's Water Parks

Both my husband and son often wear bathing suits that have drawstrings in them, and we’ve never had a problem visiting all of the attractions. From what I understand, the prohibition against “buckles, rivets, zippers or exposed metal” on bathing suits in the parks' dress code policy doesn’t extend to drawstrings but to additional decorative features that could get caught on or damage an attraction.

I hope that my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
