    Rachel from CA Asked

Is there a dress code for Steakhouse 71? Do you have to dress up or is it park casual?

    Hi Rachel!

It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney! Oh boy, do I love to talk about FOOD. And there’s plenty to talk about when it comes to the amazing foodie finds at Walt Disney World

My mouth is watering just reading this and imagining a delicious meal at Steakhouse 71, the newest restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. After checking the Steakhouse 71 link, it looks like the restaurant is billed as casual dining. So there doesn’t appear to be a dress code requiring a certain attire. Those that are coming to dinner after a day spent at the theme parks can feel totally welcome. But it does give a good excuse to put some dressier clothes on and get all gussied up for a night out!

I’ll dig a little deeper on this question in the coming days as I have a breakfast booked at Steakhouse 71. Hey, the things we will do for “research purposes”! But I’m certain the goal is for Guests to feel like they can come as you are. Frankly, I much prefer restaurants that are happy to have you there and don’t care so much about your attire.

We are always happy to have you here at planDisney, too! So please send in more great questions as you finalize your holiday vacation plans at Walt Disney World. Have a magical vacation and happy holidays!
