Ahoy, Susan!
Welcome aboard planDisney! With your
Disney Dream sailing just around the corner, it sounds like you’re in full packing-mode—deciding what makes the cut and what stays home, because theme nights have a way of multiplying outfit options faster than Stitch causes chaos.
The good news is that Disney keeps things refreshingly relaxed when it comes to dress codes. There is no required formal attire on any night, and you’re welcome to stay cruise casual throughout the entire sailing if that’s your style. The only time you’ll need to step things up a notch is if you plan to dine at Palo or Remy, where
a more polished look is requested to match the elevated dining experience.
Now for the fun part—theme nights. As of right now, your sailing is scheduled to feature
Pirate Night on Day 2 while at sea. Whether your crew goes all-in with tricorn hats and boots or keeps it simple with pirate-themed shirts (that’s our current go-to), you’ll fit right in with the swashbuckling fun, themed menu, and deck party festivities.
Your optional “dress-up” night is currently planned for Day 3 while in Nassau, and this is where things get delightfully tricky. That same evening is also scheduled for
Mickey & Minnie’s Holiday Party, which means you get to choose your own adventure: elegant eveningwear, festive holiday outfits, or a creative mash-up of both. Think “holiday glam” that would make even Santa pause mid-cookie.
Once you’re onboard, be sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the most up-to-date schedule, as entertainment and theme nights are always subject to change. That app is your magic map for knowing exactly what’s happening and when.
I hope this helps as you plan your outfits and pack with confidence. No matter what ends up in your suitcase, the Dream has a way of making every night feel just right. Wishing you smooth seas, perfectly timed costume changes, and memories that sparkle brighter than the ship’s atrium at night.
Sea ya real soon with holiday cheer, calm seas, and magical winter memories,
Dustin
