    dress code at dinner

    Hi Anna,

Your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation is almost here! How VERY exciting!

The dress code at most Table-Service restaurants is casual. I suggest packing comfortable clothing that adheres to the Disney Theme Parks Dress Code. Casual sundresses are perfect for dinner and very appropriate for the theme parks as well.

It is absolutely imperative to pack good walking shoes for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Shorts, jeans and t-shirts are perfectly acceptable attire for the entire family, both at the parks and most dining locations. I also recommend checking the local weather report before leaving for the parks each day. It might get a bit chilly in the evenings, so I suggest packing lightweight jackets (or hoodies) just in case.

All of the above being said, if you made dining reservations at one of the fabulous Disney Fine/Signature Dining restaurants, you will need to adhere to a specific dress code. Therefore, I recommend packing one pair of strappy sandals, a cocktail dress, a dressy pant suit, a good skirt or a nice pair of dressy Capri pants to go with a dressier blouse. For men, the proper attire is "business casual." That means they can wear khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts and collared shirts. Sport coats are optional. There are also numerous Lounges, and you just might want to dress up a bit for those too.
