Hello there, Gwendolyn! You must be packing your suitcases for an adventure at sea with Disney Cruise Line. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
I'd be happy to share more about the
dress attire onboard so you can be prepared for your upcoming vacation. You'll find that the majority of spaces onboard the ship welcome "cruise casual" attire. Cruise casual allows for jeans, shorts, and t-shirts to be worn, however, swimwear and tank tops are not permitted in the restaurants onboard.
Most sailings have at least one evening with a Formal Night or Dress Up Night listed as the suggested dining attire. In these cases, the suggested attire is optional, and cruise casual wear is welcome. If you'll be dining in any of the
adult-exclusive restaurants onboard, additional dress requirements apply to enhance the elegant dining atmosphere. Formal or semi-formal attire is recommended. You may also choose to wear "dress casual" attire (think: dress pants, jeans in good condition, collared shirts, and blouses).
I hope this information is helpful as you plan your outfits for your sailing. Disney Cruise Line provides a helpful
packing checklist and I find it to be a great reference as I start filling up my luggage. Be sure to leave a little extra space for souvenirs! There will be some fun
shopping opportunities on the ship as well as in the ports you'll be visiting.
Gwendolyn, thank you again for visiting planDisney with your question. Have a magical sailing!
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
