I would definitely suggest you try something new! Port Orleans is a wonderful and beautiful resort and you might decide it is your favorite but how will you know unless your family tries some of the other locations! I was just talking with someone yesterday who decided she liked Caribbean Beach better as she loved the "beachy" theme and the new pool. The pirate rooms are adorable too and I am sure your sons will think they are on their own pirate ship! Check out the resort map and request a building that seems to fit your needs best...close to pool/bus stops etc.
