Dream Ship: which verandah rooms have round bathtubs, and clear plexiglass unobstructed views?

Greetings, Angela – thank you for consulting planDisney!

The Disney Dream is one of my favorite ships in the fleet, and I am happy to hear that you are planning to sail on this delightful vessel.

Angela, as a fan of the round tubs myself, I will not confuse you with the various stateroom Category numbers and lettering, but I will ask you to look through this official Disney Cruise Line resource for stateroom descriptions which clearly outline which Category of staterooms offer the round tub. My personal experience when probing for the Disney Dream staterooms was that the staterooms that were designated as “Family” meaning the word “Family” is in the title of the stateroom, feature the round tubs, as well as the Murphy Bed which opens from the wall. These staterooms accommodate up to 5 Guests and personally, they are my only choice when sailing with Disney.

As far as, staterooms with verandahs that offer unobstructed views, I would look for staterooms which are mid-ship, as many staterooms in the forward or aft sections will have an obstructed view.
When probing Disney Dream staterooms, look for the word “Family” in the description, and open each drop-down for a full description of stateroom amenities and details to look for the round-tub description to ensure it is offered. As well, when booking through a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member via telephone, or a Travel Professional, be sure to specify the round tub and the unobstructed balcony view.

    Tips:
Download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to manage your plans before and during your sailing.

As soon as your balance is paid off and your Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club member advance booking window opens, you will then see a list of activities and Port Adventures in your daily itinerary from which to choose to enhance your cruise.

Please refer to Disney Cruise Line’s – Know Before Your Sail resource often, and even up to your sail date as information may change.

Angela, it was my pleasure assisting you today, please stop by planDisney once you have booked your cruise for more first-hand tips and advice!

    Best Disney Dreams!
