I dream of owning Disney Vacation Club someday. I know some of the resorts have kitchens in the room which is definitely something that we’d want. What’s the best DVC resort with a kitchen?

    Hiya Kelly!

Welcome back to planDisney!  I'm so excited to hear that you're considering all the benefits of Disney Vacation Club Membership –– I can honestly say that it's one of the best decisions my family has ever made!  Not only do we get the chance to experience Disney vacations year after year, but we're also "Welcomed Home" to beautiful accommodations that truly make each stay feel like magic.  For me, one of the best parts of staying at a Disney Vacation Club Resort is having the option to choose a Villa with a fully-equipped kitchen and in-room laundry (with four kids, these definitely get put to good use).  We've even cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner –– turkey and all –– from a 2-Bedroom Villa at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!  Seriously, how cool is that?!

While each Disney Vacation Club Resort offers a unique experience for Guests, the great news is that the basic in-room amenities are the same, no matter where your choose to stay.  All 1, 2 and 3-Bedroom Villas offer a fully-equipped kitchen with a stove and oven, dishwasher and full-sized refrigerator, while Deluxe Studios feature an in-room kitchenette.  Each Villa also comes equipped with pots, pans, dishes, glassware, utensils, and a dedicated dining area, giving you everything you'll need to prepare and enjoy meals together with your family.

To make sure your in-room kitchen is stocked with everything you need during your stay, I recommend having groceries delivered directly to your resort.  Orders can be placed with the grocery delivery service of your choosing or by faxing/mailing the Grocery Order Form available on the "Amenities" page of each Disney Vacation Club Resort at least three days prior to check-in. Grocery deliveries, including refrigerated items, can be stored with Bell Services and picked up at your earliest convenience.  Once you receive a notification that your groceries have been delivered, you can stop by Bell Services to pick them up or have them delivered directly to your room for an additional charge.

Thanks for dropping by planDisney with your question, Kelly.  I'm wishing you and your family many future adventures with Disney Vacation Club!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Amy
