We will be on the Dream next week. On debarkation day, I know we have to be out of room by 8 am but then we can eat. What time do we have to be off ship?

Ahoy there, Morgan! Thank you for visiting planDisney before your vacation at sea.

Before you know it, you’ll be welcomed aboard by the fantastic Disney Crew! Whether you’re searching for enchanting entertainment, delightful dining options, or unique activities, you’re sure to find all these and more with Disney Cruise Line! While no one likes to think about the end of a lovely vacation, I have a few tips to share for a smooth departure from the ship.

On the final night of your cruise, your Stateroom Host will provide you with character luggage tags. Before attaching these new tags, be sure to remove the old ones. Your Stateroom Host will collect your luggage after dinner and transport it to the terminal, where you will pick it up once you disembark. Don’t pack all your clothes because you’ll need something to wear home.

You're right; you need to be out of your stateroom by 8:00 a.m. They try to have everyone off the ship by 9:00 a.m. Don’t worry because Captain Mickey sends you off with a “See Ya Real Soon” farewell breakfast. If you have Main Dining, you will eat between 6:30 and 7:15 a.m. Second Dining is from 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. Breakfast is served in the same restaurant and at the same table where you dined the previous evening. Your servers will tell you when to report during the previous dinner.

After breakfast, find a nice spot in one of the lounges until your character luggage tag group is called. Make sure you keep everyone’s Key to the World card with you, as they will be scanned one final time as you exit the ship. Safe travels and may your cruise be nothing short of extraordinary!
