We are going on the Dream in May, my daughter is 5, can we bring her birth certificate to get her on the ship or does she need other documentation? Thanks!

    Hi Summer!

I love the Disney Dream!  You are going to have a wonderful time, and your little princess is going to have the time of her life!

I have always used my kids' birth certificates on Disney cruises, but I have to tell you that I am getting them their passports.  I've attached the official Travel Documentation Information page for you. Here's the official word on children under the age of 16:

Children under the age of 16 may present an original or certified copy of their state issued birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad, or a Naturalization Certificate.

Have a wonderful time on your trip!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
