We will be on the Dream in 4/11. I know there may be different activities. Are there any to look for that are don't miss activities? We will have a 2 and 6 year-old. Thanks!

    Hi Traci,

I am bubbling with anticipation to hear the first reports from the Disney Dream in January 2011 - I am sure there will be plenty of exciting news to share from it's first passengers!

I imagine that the family favorites will carry over onto the new ship - such as character greetings, bingo, dance parties, trivia contests, movies, pool-side activities etc. Thankfully DCL makes it super easy to keep track of all that is going on with their handy Personal Navigators that are provided for you each day.  I always like to bring high-lighter markers (a different color for each member of the family) so we can mark up this handy tool. This is an easy way to remind ourselves and draw attention to the activities of interest to our family - so we're sure not to miss a thing!

Disney has let us in on a few of the exciting new features of the Disney Dream such as the Enchanted Artwork and Magic Play Floor, and it sounds like these are two things you won't want to miss!  You can learn more about them (along with a few other innovations) HERE.

Another Disney Cruise Line first will be Goofy Golf, a mini-golf course that will be fun for all ages; and I can't wait to check out Nemo's Reef - an 1,500-square-foot interactive water splash-ground!  Good luck getting the kids out of there for lunch!  Be sure to check out the drawings HERE.

Now is a great time to build that countdown chain - take off one "link" each day to give the children perspective on how long until you leave for the cruise.  I think I need one myself - June 2011 seems so far away to me!
