I have the dream key. When I look at the available dates there are less days available than what is available for a single day ticket. I understood that my key was available 365 days a year. Can you please explain the discrepancies in the two calendars?

    Hello Heidi,

It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney, where we always welcome a chance to share tips and recommendations based on our own magical visits to the Disney Parks.

It's also wonderful to see you've joined the Disneyland Resort Magic Key program!

Heidi, I can certainly understand wanting to compare the theme park reservation availability calendars for a Magic Key pass and for a standard theme park admission ticket.

One note I can share, and hopefully it's helpful, is that the theme park reservation inventory for Magic Key holders is a different and separate inventory than the theme park reservation inventory for standard theme park admission ticket holders. The two calendars are showing different reservation inventories.

It's helpful to know that Magic Key pass theme park reservations can be made available for selection on an ongoing basis, so it's a good idea to check the availability calendar for your specific Magic Key pass type frequently as you plan your visits to the theme parks.

Heidi, I hope this information is helpful as a way to see how the calendars you're viewing differ from each other. If you have questions about your Magic Key pass, you can reach out to the Magic Key Membership Services team at (714) 781-7277 and a Cast Member can assist with your questions.

Here's wishing you lots of wonderful fun as you experience all the magic of the Disneyland Resort as a Magic Key holder, and here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
