Welcome back to planDisney, it’s great to see you here and I’m thrilled that you are planning an incredible voyage to Europe this summer. This marks the Disney Dream’s inaugural season in Europe, and there is so much to get excited about! As our friends in the animated film Frozen II sing, “some things never change” like the grandeur of being at sea on this gorgeous ship and the amazing ports of call throughout Europe and the Mediterranean Sea. Our magical snowman pal Olaf also says, “oh, how I wish this could last forever. And yet change mocks us with her beauty.”
I’m sorry to share that things have changed this year and there doesn’t appear to be a Frozen themed evening aboard the Disney Dream in Europe this summer. The Frozen Deck Party remains a tradition onboard the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder; the Disney Magic previously sailed in Europe so perhaps that’s where you connected this themed evening for these itineraries. I reviewed the upcoming schedule for the Disney Dream throughout the summer of 2023 and there is no listing of a Frozen evening. I’m sure this isn’t what you were hoping to hear, but I’m happy to share more information about what is happening onboard the Disney Dream this summer.
All summer itineraries to Europe and the Mediterranean will be special Silver Anniversary at Sea sailings, commemorating 25 years of Disney Cruise Line! These special sailings will feature new merchandise, treats, character outfits and events, and even a new theme song to celebrate.
In addition to this ongoing celebration, the following itineraries will also feature Pirate Night – a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition:
- 4-Night Spain Cruise
- 7-Night Mediterranean Cruise
- 8-Night Mediterranean Cruise
- 9-Night Mediterranean Cruise
- 11-Night Mediterranean Cruise
The following itineraries do not feature Pirate Night but will include everything for the Silver Anniversary at Sea:
- 7-Night Norwegian Fjords Cruise
- 7-Night Northern Europe Cruise
- 10-Night Northern Europe Cruise
- 11-Night Northern Europe Cruise
