Going on the Dream in April 2016. Do we need to bring our passports with us when we go ashore in Nassau? Is the room key enough to get back on the ship?

    Ahoy Heidi –

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on your upcoming cruise on the Disney Dream, and I am sure that your pirate crew will have a fabulous time sailing in the Bahamas. In Nassau, you will find nice warm weather, friendly people, and plenty of fun! To leave the ship, you will need your Key to the World and some form of identification like a driver’s license. You do not need your passport, and really you should keep it locked in your cabin safe when you are not using it. Your young pirates will only need their Key to the World and no extra identification to debark the ship. Once you come back onboard, your identification and Key to the World will be examined, scanned in, and you will need to go through a quick security check in (metal detector and bags scanned).  This process is relatively quick and you will be on your way before you know it. Heidi, I hope your crew has a fabulous time in paradise and please come back to see us real soon!
