Have the drawing classes at the Disney World's Art of Animation resort resumed? If so, how do we join a class if we are staying at a different Disney resort?

Hey there Kim and welcome to planDisney!

The Walt Disney World Resort is hosting its 50th Anniversary Celebration to commemorate serving Guests for half a century. But decades before the first kid walked down the middle of Main Street U.S.A., it all started with a man and a mouse. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a love letter to the art medium that serves as the bridge between all art mediums. It's no wonder you feel inspired to want to bust out your pencils and create in a drawing class! According to the Disney Resort Hotels: Know Before You Go page, a lot of special classes haven't been reintroduced at the resorts just yet and unfortunately that includes Teach to Draw at that particular hotel. But I was informed by a Cast Member that the Animation Experience at Conservation Station is hosting drawing classes at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. A quick break for some fries from Mr. Kamal's and a ride on the Wildlife Express Train to Rafiki's Planet Watch is all you need to be ready to flex those artsy muscles! You can find the times in your My Disney Experience app. Just search for the experience by tapping the search icon at the bottom of the screen and typing it in!

Pro-tip: It's suggested that you catch The Wildlife Express Train 40 minutes before the experience is set to start.

Kim, there is still a way to get the old creative juices flowing at The Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, just come back to see me for another chat!

    Happy planning!
