Hey, Kristen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the main reasons we all want to live in the fantasies of Walt Disney is because of our love for his animation. Walt Disney loved to make people happy and he did it best through his ability to tell stories.
To introduce Walt's love of drawing to everyone, Disney developed drawing classes for Guests at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and at DisneyQuest. They are now discontinued yet the legacy lives on with Teach to Draw in the Children's Playroom at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort where classes are held at 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM daily. The best part is you get to keep the drawing as a souvenir. Classes are open to all Guests regardless of where they are staying but priority is given to Guests of Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Class times are subject to change.
Disney Dad Tip: While you are at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort take an opportunity to look at the artwork. There are draft drawings of many favorite Disney characters created for this resort by the original artists. When you are done looking at the artwork stroll out the back of the hotel and cross Generation Gap Bridge to visit
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. Here you can eat Tie-Dyed Cheesecake at
Everything POP Shopping & Dining and
find shadow boxes in the lobby with collectibles from the 50s through the 90s. Totally rad!
Kristen, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
