Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Keith. I'm so glad you stopped by! It sounds like you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There's no place I'd rather be!
A trip to
EPCOT always makes for an adventure-filled day. With global experiences around every corner,
immersive attractions, and dozens of delectable dining options, EPCOT really is "where the impossible becomes possible!"
As someone who suffers from motion sickness, I can certainly sympathize with your question. If you need to purchase Dramamine while you're at EPCOT, stop by the conveniently located
First Aid center. Nurses are available there and can offer over-the-counter medications. You're also most welcome to bring over-the-counter medications into the theme parks with you. I usually keep Bonine on hand to ward off motion sickness when I'm enjoying pixie-dusted adventures with my family.
In my experience with motion sickness, I need to be very cautious with certain attractions. At EPCOT, I've found that Mission: SPACE is one attraction I need to avoid altogether. I can stomach Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Soarin' Around the World, and Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, but once is enough! If I'm feeling a bit nauseated afterward, I grab a Mickey Soft Pretzel and a Diet Coke from the nearest stand. That snack combo always seems to settle my stomach!
I hope this was helpful, Keith. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
