Hi DPMP! I have a question about transportation at Walt Disney World Resort! Since I have twins, my husband and I have three littles in carseats - is there still a way that I could take advantage of the Minnie Van program?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer! Minnie Vans are my family’s favorite way to be whisked off to Magic Kingdom early in the mornings. We’ve also relied on our spotted rides to get us home from Disney Springs late at night when our kids are melting with sleep!

While you will find forever car seats in each Minnie Van, each vehicle only carries two. You may want to know the state of Florida only requires a car seat until age 5, so if your husband and an older child could sit in the back on the bench seat like my family does, that may be helpful. My son uses a backed booster seat at home, but for rides in the Minnie Van, he is over Florida’s age requirement. Otherwise, you are looking at toting an extra car seat with you (not ideal, as Guest Services can’t always hold it for you; you may want to check out RideSafer Car seat vests), using larger scale complimentary WDW transportation or calling two Minnie Vans.

If I can help you with other activities during your vacation or making travel easy with preschoolers, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
