Hi Jose!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you must be excited about your upcoming Alaskan adventure! You and your family are in for quite the trip! My family cruised
Alaska with Disney a few years ago and it was unbelievable!
It can be hard to decide what adventures to do when there are so many options to choose from! My suggestion is to determine if you are planning on being super adventurous or if you are looking for some more sightseeing types of experiences – or a combination of both! I highly recommend not missing the Menhendall Glacier in Juneau! There are a variety of ways to see it – by kayak, by dog sled or by motor coach. Depending on your level of adventure, there are a variety of ways to experience the beauty of the glacier! My husband and I also took a floatplane through the Misty Fjords in Ketchikan and the views from above were incredible and the floatplane experience was new to us and we loved every minute of that experience! You may also want to go searching for bears or whale watching or panning for gold!
As far as packing goes, I would definitely to layer, layer, layer as the weather tends to vary significantly! And I also recommend having a lightweight rain jacket in the event you need it! Also remember that there your sailing includes a Pixar Party and a
Frozen Deck Party so you may want to plan to pack some special itemsfor those fun onboard events!
I know you will have the best time no matter what you choose to do; you simply cannot go wrong with any of the excellent
Port Adventures offerings.
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
