Hi DP Moms! Going to WDW, staying Tues 1/7 PM until Friday 1/10 late PM at the Caribbean Resort. Want to hit 4 parks, not looking to park hop. Galaxy's Edge is priorityfor us What tickets should we get, and which park should we hit in order? TIA!

Hi Sandra! Your trip begins in just a few days! I’ll be happy to help you sort through your ticket options. Based on the dates you provided in your question, it sounds like you will have 2 full days and 2 partial days to explore the amazing theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort. I completely understand why visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a priority for you; I have had the opportunity to explore the planet of Batuu and it is an amazing place. Because you probably will want to make experiencing Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance your top priority, my advice will take that into consideration.

At this time, access to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is through a virtual queue, called a Boarding Group. Guests may join a Boarding Group from the home screen of the My Disney Experience mobile app. The Boarding Group process will begin immediately at the official park opening time, so it is imperative that you allow enough time to arrive at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, complete the security screening, and have entered the park prior to the official opening time. There is a limited number of Boarding Groups available. Guests who arrive later in the day will find that all Boarding Groups for the day have already been assigned. Guests are notified of the approximate time of day when they might expect their boarding group to be called, and will receive a notification through the app when it is time for them to enter the attraction.

I would plan to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios on one of your full days. Check the park hours calendar to help you decide when would be the best time to visit each park.  As a Guest staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you are eligible for Extra Magic Hours, so that may also impact your decision. Currently, there is a limited-time 4-Park Magic Ticket that offers savings compared to Standard Theme Park Tickets. However, if for some reason you are unable to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance on the day you visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the 4-Park Magic Ticket would not allow you to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios on a second day. I know you mentioned you were not interested in park hopping, but in your situation, I think a Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper Option would help you get the most from your visit.

I encourage you to decide which tickets will work best and purchase them so you can link them to your My Disney Experience account and select your FastPass+ experiences in advance. I know I have given you a lot to think about, so if you have any other questions please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again. We are always happy to help.
