    Hi! We got the DP for 5. Booked some Character dinners. Do we all have to redeem a dinner if we dont eat? My husband & i want to go out to dinner alone) but we will have to sit w/ gramma and the kids earlier at dinner to help.

    Isn't it wonderful to be traveling with Gramma? This summer, my Dad will be joining us for our Disney vacation, and you can be sure my husband and I also have a few date nights scheduled! I'm glad to hear you'll be taking advantage too!

    When at a Disney restaurant, you will be charged for the meals you order. For example, if you are at Cape May Cafe helping Gramma and your two children but you are waiting to dine with your husband, you will be charged for the three dinners. There's no fee associated for those simply sitting at the table. Then you can use your own Disney Dining Plan entitlement later that day with your husband for a romantic meal.
