Going to Downtown Disney one afternoon to visit the greatest toy store in the World and wanted to grab a quick lunch. We don't have a lot of time so I'm looking for a quick service maybe near the toy store. Also, where do the buses drop us off at DD?

Thank you for another fantastic question, Irene!

When I think of Table-Service restaurants within the Downtown Disney Area - two very delicious options come to mind. My top choice is Wolfgang Puck Express. The best way I can describe the selections offered here is Table-Service quality food with the pricing and speed of a Counter-Service restaurant. The portions are very large and oh so yummy! My boys love the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and my husband likes the Half Rotisserie Chicken. I have 'sampled' their meals and they are very good. My favorite is the Bacon-wrapped Meatloaf. My second choice is Earl Of Sandwich. If you are in the mood for a hot sandwich - this is the place! I do not eat bread, so I usually order The Full Montagu without a bun. I cut it all up and eat it somewhat like a salad - and it is so good! My husband has tried just about everything, but the kids ask if we can get them spaghetti from Wolfgang Puck Express. (Did I mention they love the spaghetti?) Both restaurants are conveniently located very close to each other.

The Walt Disney World Resort buses are located on the far east side of the Downtown Disney Area. Both of these restaurants are also on the east side, as well as Once Upon a Toy store! If you do have a little bit of time, quickly duck into my favorite store - Mickey's Pantry. This store has many amazing Disney inspired kitchen tools, dishes, and gifts. My favorite thing to bring home is Mickey shaped pasta. It's a fun dish to serve at home to remember our trip and bring a bit of magic to the dinner table.

    Have a magical day, Irene!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
