Are Downtown Disney & Disney Springs two different names for the same place? Are they both shopping areas, entertainment & restaurants? or completely different? We have a 11yo, 9yo & 3 turning 4yo during our trip, is it worth using a day to go?

    Hi Viviane!

The Disney Imagineers have taken what was previoulsy Downtown Disney and transformed it into Disney Springs! While some of favorites remain, such as La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil and (my favorite) World of Disney, you will find many new things for your family to enjoy. The area is composed of four unique neighborhoods built around a bubbling springs. Every time I have visited over the past year, I have been so amazed by all of the beautiful changes taking place!

My family spent the afternoon and evening at Disney Springs a few months ago after a morning enjoying our Walt Disney World Resort hotel pool and we had such an amazing time! We started with a fantastic seafood lunch in at The BOATHOUSE where our table was in a boat inside the restaurant. My kids absolutely loved it! I think your little ones would love to play at The LEGO store and pick out treats at The Ganachery.  You can end your day with drinks and live music at Dockside Margaritas or visit Jock Lindsay's Hanger Bar. I think it is definitely worth a trip to see all the fun things waiting for you! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
