    Is Downtown Disney appropriate for a 2 year old? If so, can you recommend some SHOP. DINE. PLAY places?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Kimberly!

    My boys love spending time at Downtown Disney!

    One of their favorite places to eat is T-Rex. They love playing in the Paleo Zone while we wait for our table. And we of course have to stop in the Dino-Store on our way out.

    In addition to all the awesome shops & great places to eat at Downtown Disney, here are some things your 2 year old may enjoy:

    * LEGO Imagination Center
    * Marketplace Carousel
    * Marketplace Train Express
    * Splitsville (upscale bowling)
    * Visit Once Upon A Toy to build a great Mr. Potato Head and shop for some awesome toys

    In the Marketplace Area, there is usually some sort of live music in front of Fulton's Crab House that the whole family can enjoy. Be sure to stop by the Waterside Stage. Depending on the time of the year you visit, they may have live performances or a DJ Kids Dance Party.

    You can usually find live music in front of Wetzel's Pretzels on the West Side.

    Just before you head out of the Pleasure Island section towards the West Side, we've often seen "live statutes" and other fun entertainment so be sure to stroll through that area.

    In the summer months there are fountains near Once Upon A Toy that kids love to splash around in.

    You can pick up a Times Guide at Downtown Disney that will list some of the Entertainment hours.

    Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-)  Allison V.
